Jarvy is an app that helps families organize kids' chores with missions, coins, and rewards. It is used by parents (or guardians) and the kids in the family, always set up and supervised by the parents. This policy explains what data we use and why. Data controller: GUILHERME LIMA DE ALCANTARA (Visual Tech Soluções em Tecnologia), contact [email protected].

Data we use

We don't show ads, sell data, or use tracking or advertising tools. Kids don't create accounts or give an email address.

Why we use it

Only to make the app work: sync the family across devices, show missions and rewards, approve chores, send notifications, and provide support. The legal basis is providing the service the parents signed up for and parental consent for children's data (COPPA; GDPR art. 8; LGPD art. 14).

Where data is stored

On Supabase servers (United States), with access restricted to each family. Photos are kept in private storage and shown only through temporary links. Bot protection uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Notifications go through Expo's service and Apple's and Google's notification services. Payments, if any, are processed by the App Store or Google Play — we never receive card details.

Your rights

Parents can view, correct, and delete the family's data at any time in the app: remove a kid, reset progress, delete the whole family (Settings → Danger zone), or delete the account (Settings → Account). Deleted data is removed from our servers. You can also ask by email at [email protected].

Retention

We keep data while the family uses the app. When the family or account is deleted, its data is deleted too.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll let you know in the app or on this site.
